Steps for startups to register with Startup India<\/p>\n
Startup India registration requires following steps to be followed:<\/p>\n
Business Formation and Qualification Requirements<\/p>\n
First, for an entity to be registered and accredited under the scheme, it needs to be established and checked for various eligibility parameters defined in the programme.<\/p>\n
Account Creation<\/p>\n
Once the entity is established and meets the eligibility requirements, the next step is to create an account on the GOI Launch Portal (www.startupindia.gov.in). Users can register the entity by navigating to the portal and clicking on New User. Registration can be done by filling in the details or using any social media account. Once the OTP based verification is completed, an account is created for the entity.<\/p>\n
DPIIT accreditation<\/p>\n
Thanks to the Department of Industrial Promotion and Internal Trade (DPIIT) accreditation, entities can access higher level facilities. Existing and new users can obtain \"DPIIT accreditation\" and \"Get accredited\" on a rolling basis.The benefits of DPIIT accreditation include:<\/p>\n

R&D Enhancement<\/p>\n
Research parks are being set up to facilitate research and development by start-up entrepreneurs and students. Registered entities will be able to utilise these resources to innovate and develop their products\/services.<\/p>\n
How do I know my registration is complete?<\/p>\n
Start-ups are recognised after filling out an application and providing the necessary documents. You can then download a copy of the recognition certificate from the portal. The recognition certificate is available for download within two working days of completing the form.<\/p>\n
