PayKun Payment Gateway : WhatsApp Gets Approval To Expand Indian Payment Service User Base To 100 Million

In recent years, WhatsApp has been insisting that the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) should not put a cap on the number of users of its payment service. On Wednesday, the NPCI informed WhatsApp that the company can increase the user cap to 100 million from the current 40 million, sources said. However, considering that WhatsApp already has over 500 million users in India, its expansion will still be limited even with the increased cap.
