　　Recently, the China (Chongqing)-Indonesia (Jakarta) New International Land and Sea Trade Corridor Co-operation and Exchange Meeting was successfully held in Chongqing. The exchange meeting was hosted by Chongqing Municipal People's Government and organised by Chongqing Municipal People's Government Port and Logistics Office, Chongqing Municipal Committee of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Indonesian Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Indo-China Business Council. At the meeting, Zheng Xiangdong, Vice Mayor of Chongqing Municipal Government, said that Chongqing will play the role of logistics and operation organisation centre of the corridor, accelerate the construction of connectivity network with Indonesia, promote bilateral trade exchanges and turn the New International Land and Sea Trade Corridor into a road of openness, cooperation and prosperity that will benefit the countries along the route.

　　Zhang Liyao, CEO of JHL Group China, delivered a keynote speech at the meeting, stating that JHL Group will actively promote the full integration of its industries into the new international land and sea trade corridors, and help make the Chongqing-JHL relationship a model in regional cooperation.

　　During the exchange session, Chongqing and Indonesia held a signing ceremony, signing a total of 14 projects with a total investment amount of over 4.1 billion yuan, involving automotive procurement, logistics cooperation, battery modules, steel smelting, green energy, mineral trade, legal cooperation and other fields. In addition, a signing ceremony was held to confer a licence on the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce in Sichuan and Chongqing.
