Are you experiencing a wallet debit but your bank account is not showing an increase? No need to worry! Usually, you can transfer funds instantly to any bank account via Paytm wallet. In the vast majority of cases, the funds will be transferred to the recipient's bank account immediately. 99.91 TP3T of 'Transfer to Bank' transactions are completed successfully within a few seconds. However, there are still a few transactions that are pending. This usually occurs when the funds are deducted from your wallet and the recipient's bank is notified to add the funds and we do not receive confirmation of success or failure within the specified time, or due to network problems (load/fluctuations/interruptions) we are unable to retrieve the correct status from the bank. 99.99% transactions are processed within 72 hours.

Once this happens, our first priority is to get the final status from your bank and confirm it to you. Here is the process behind this scenario:Paytm regularly checks with your bank to see if the transaction was successful or failed.99.9% can be successful or failed in the next working day and you can check the status in your Paytm wallet ledger. For failed transactions, the funds are immediately returned to your Paytm wallet. For those cases where final success/failure confirmation is not available within 3 business days (for transactions less than 0.01%), we proactively notify your bank that we have been waiting for a long time and it is now time to either transfer the funds to the payee's bank account or inform us to return the funds to the sender's Paytm wallet.

Once the recipient bank receives our instructions, they will be reconciled with the different processing times (most banks take 1-2 business days, but some may take up to 3 business days), after which the funds will either be transferred to the recipient's bank account or returned to your Paytm wallet. Funds transferred from Paytm Payments Bank savings account to other bank accounts via IMPS will also go through the same reconciliation process as mentioned above.
