Digital payment transactions have continued to grow in recent years, in line with the Government of India's strategic initiative to drive digitisation of the financial sector and the economy. In addition, the country has invested significant efforts in promoting financial inclusion. We, as one of India's most prominent banks, are committed to promoting safe and secure mobile payments in India. While significant incidents and criminal activities related to our accounts represent only a small fraction of all digital financial transactions, it remains critical to provide law enforcement agencies with comprehensive knowledge and sensitivity, as well as the tools and assistance that Paytm Payments Bank can provide to their investigative efforts.

Adopting a proactive strategy through an outreach programme, our Law Enforcement Operations team is fully committed to providing training and education to law enforcement officers to enable them to deal with the ever-changing digital transaction landscape in their respective cities and jurisdictions. This presentation is designed to reveal how we can contribute to their investigative efforts. Over the past few quarters, the training sessions have sensitised and sensitised more than 2,000 law enforcement officers, we have responded to more than 70,000 law enforcement data requests and have worked closely with law enforcement agencies such as ED, MHA, SFIO, and multiple cybercrime police stations in India to assist them with cybercrime investigations.

Our dedicated Law Enforcement Operations team continues to deliver this training course, detailing the range of resources we can provide. The presentation will delve into our Identity and Digital Payments business model, describe the data generated by digital transactions, explain how investigators can request access to this data through the legal process, highlight the uses of such data in criminal investigations, and highlight trends we have observed nationwide.

The main objective is to empower law enforcement officers attending the training to effectively interact with our LERT department, enabling them to serve legal documents, handle urgent requests or make enquiries. Additionally, the presentation will explore the various tactics that criminal entities may attempt to incorporate with our digital platforms or fraud schemes. Finally, investigative agencies will learn what specific data types are most critical to include in their investigations and legal proceedings to best support their investigative efforts.
