Do you want to test payment gateways before committing to integration work? Or do you find it difficult to remember multiple credentials in test and live mode? Or just want to understand the checkout process and functionality of the payment gateway?

At PayUmoney, we understand the importance of "trying" any service or product before actually using it. That's why we have launched PayUmoney's Test Mode! Now you can experience the checkout process of the payment gateway from the customer's point of view. Try out various features and navigate through the entire dashboard. All this before integrating or writing a single line of code!

What are the new features? Test Mode!

The main reason for introducing this feature is to make sure that you or your clients do not encounter any problems when executing real transactions. All issues can be quickly resolved in test mode. No more losing sleep over problems in live mode!

How does it work?

Log in to your PayUmoney account and switch on the "Test Mode". The dashboard is completely under your control and you are free to test all available features - checkout options, PayUmoney payment button integration, invoice creation and other exciting features.

Checkout Options

In your dashboard, you can select two different checkout options without writing any code. Transactions made through this process will be displayed under the Transactions tab. To experience the checkout process from the customer's perspective, choose either of the following:

Checkout 1: PayUmoney Bolt, a super fast no redirect checkout that allows you to accept payments in a website environment.

Checkout 2: PayUmoney redirects checkout to provide an optimised payment experience on separate browser tabs. Each mode has a separate payment tab, reducing the number of sessions and eliminating the need to worry about PCI DSS issues.

Unlimited Test Transactions

We have removed all restrictions on the amount of test transactions. Test transactions will not be settled and the test amount will neither be transferred to PayUmoney nor deducted from your account. Make unlimited transactions with confidence!

Tip: Use test cards for test transactions.

Same voucher

We know that remembering multiple email addresses and passwords can be difficult. Now you can use the same credentials to log in to live and test mode. Your salts, keys and authentication headers are available after registration. These credentials are accessible in both modes under the "Integration" setting.

Tip: You can switch between these two modes with a single click.
