1. Top up your PayU Payouts account via IMPS or NEFT.

2. Add payee details i.e. payee's bank account number and IFSC code.

New feature: "Smart Send" for PayU Payouts

Don't know your client's account details? Don't worry! With our new "Smart Send" feature, you can send payments without having to manually collect and fill in your customer's bank account details! You can send payments to anyone at any time without having to manually collect account details.

How does "smart sending" work?

1. Top up your PayU Payouts account via IMPS or NEFT (as described above).

2. Provide the following details through the Smart Send API for payment through PayU payout:

- Customer's mobile phone number or email address (the Smart Send link will be sent through this channel).

- The amount transferred to the customer.

- Your merchant reference number (this will help you and your customers identify the payment/transfer).

- Description (you can add payment notes if necessary).

3. After you have provided all the details, a link to the Smart Send web page will be sent to the email or contact number provided by the customer.

4. The customer will open the page and enter his/her account details. After entering his/her account details, he/she will receive the OTP verification code on the registered contact number.

5. After verifying the OTP, the payment will be triggered from your merchant ID to his/her account.
