Easily update your bank account numbers in the PayUmoney Dashboard!

We are glad to inform you that it is now possible to update your bank account number directly in the PayUmoney Control Panel! There is no need to go through the trouble of submitting documents again - all you have to do is to click on "Update".

To ensure the security of your information, we have added an extra layer of security to this update. Due to the sensitivity of bank account information, only merchants who have registered with PayUmoney via their mobile phone number will be able to initiate the change process.

Please note: This update is only for changing your bank account number.

Here's how to easily update your bank account number in 5 simple steps:

1. Log in to your PayUmoney Control Panel and click on the "Profile" section. Here, click on "Bank Details" and next to "Bank Account Number" you will see an "Update" option.

2. After clicking "Update", a pop-up window will appear. Enter the "New Bank Account Number" here. You can then click "Search" to select IFSC and click "Next".

Please note: You will not be able to change your name at this stage.

3. When you click on the CTA, a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered mobile phone number. Please read carefully before you enter the OTP in the pop-up window and accept the terms and conditions.

4. After verifying the OTP, we will deposit a small amount of money, also known as a "penny deposit", into your new bank account. You can also see this amount on your bank statement.

5. Now, enter the amount to be deposited into your bank account in the "Deposit amount" section. This step is to verify your bank account so that you can start receiving payments in your new bank account from now on. Within 24 hours of the update, you will no longer receive payments in your old account. You will start receiving payments in your new bank account.
